Mehsana

Mehsana was established by Mesaji Chavda of Chawda Dynasty in Vikram Samwat 1414. Mehsana town houses the Mehsana District Cooperative Milk Producer's Union Ltd., popularly known as Dudhsagar Dairy, which is the largest dairy in Asia. The town is also known for its post modernist structure designed by Achyut Kanvinde, a must see for architecture enthusiasts. Besides, Mahudi, an important pilgrimage site for Jains is located in proximity to the town.
